Educaplay launches its plugin to integrate games into WordPress

This weekend, Educaplay presented its free plugin for WordPress at the first edition of WordCamp Logroño. This plugin adds a block to your website that lets you embed Educaplay games on any page simply by pasting the link — just like the YouTube block does with videos.

We’re proud to have been sponsors of WordCamp Logroño, especially because it’s a non-profit event organized by the social fabric of our region. It energizes the local community and spreads web knowledge across all fields.

We also contributed to the official program of the event by showing how games can be the most powerful form of interactive content for your website — even more than text, images, or video. In the talk How to boost interaction on your website with games you create in seconds, our colleague Romà Rofes shared research and examples that demonstrate how to get the most out of games without spending hours creating them.

Creating and customizing your games was already easy — now, thanks to the plugin, adding them to the content management system that powers over 40% of websites worldwide is easy too.
