New! Choose how your players identify themselves

From now on, you can decide which identification methods will be available in your games: Nickname, Invitation, Educaplay account… or any combination of them!

And if you don’t need to save scores, you can also remove the “Click here to identify yourself” button, so your players can focus just on playing and having fun.

You’ll find all of this in the advanced option “Player Identification”.

• With an Advanced Plan, you can make identification required and choose the allowed methods.
• With an Academic Plan, in addition to the above, you can also allow the “No identification” mode, which completely removes the button.

Please note that this setting does not affect games embedded in platforms like Google Classroom, Moodle, or Canvas. In those cases, scores are saved automatically with the user’s platform name.
